GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Please carefully review the following guidelines prior to submitting an abstract:

Preparation of abstracts
Submission title:
1. The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study.
2. No identifying features such as names of authors, hospitals, medical schools, clinics, or cities may be listed in the title or abstract text, as a “blind” review process will be used.
3. Capitalize the first letter of trade names
Note: Do not use only capital letters (all caps)
Author / Authors
Authors should be introduced in the order in which they will be included in the published abstract.
For each author please provide:
• First name
• Last name
• Institution / affiliation ( only department name, institution/company name, do not include any address)
• City
• Country

Abstract content:
1. Abstracts should be clear, concise, and written and presented in English. Abstracts will be published as submitted. Presenters are requested to carefully proofread their abstract.
2. The abstract word limit is max. 300 words per abstract.
3. Abstracts must include the following sections:
• Introduction and Objective (Clearly state the purpose of the abstract)
• Materials and Methods (Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects clearly)
• Results (Present your results in a logical sequence in text, table, and illustrations)
• Conclusions (Emphasize new and important aspects of the study and the conclusions that are drawn from them)
4. Statements such as “results will be discussed” or “data will be presented” cannot be accepted.
5. All abbreviations must be defined in first use.
6. Use of brand names: Generic names must be used for all references to products or companies. The brand name can be inserted as a reference at the bottom of the abstract page. Papers containing brand names/company names in the abstract text (i.e., not in a reference at the bottom of the page) may be rejected for this reason only. EPOS reserves the right to replace any brand name with a generic name without further notice.
7. Please do not include references, credits or grant suport

Tables and Figures:
Tables and figues should be included as attachents but their exact location should be indicated in the body of the abstract by entering the name of the table and/or graph.
Figures should be attached as a jpg or png format, maximum file size: 10 MB (Attachment 1 - Figures)
Tables should be attached as Microsoft Word (doc, docx, odt) or Microsoft Excel (xls, xlsx, ods) format, maximum file size: 10 MB (Attachment 2 – Tables)

More information
The EPOS Annual meeting welcomes papers as Oral Presentations and E-posters. Authors may submit multiple papers as E-posters.
There is no limitation as far as number of submissions are concerned for all categories.
However, in Oral (podium) category only two abstracts as a first author will be accepted.
In case the same author is involved in additional papers, the author must appear as co-author on these papers.
No last minute change of the presenting author will be acceptable without written proof for the reason for absence. An author who have two podium abstracts accepted may not substitute an-other presenter.
In order to present their Oral / E-Poster authors/presenters shall be regularly registered to the congress
